PUCV - My Experience as International Educator from 1994 to 2002

Responsibilities:

 

• Served as a liason between the Director of International Programs and Program or Resident Directors

 

• Assisted international students at the Universidad with the application and visa process, registrations, housing and general advisement

• Coordinated the students study schedules as well as provided them with various projects and responsibilities according to their field of studies and preferences

• Worked with the Director of International Programs to keep track of the International Program’s budget

 

• Created and maintained the study abroad website that had information for prospective and current students, faculty and exchange students.

 

• Assisted the Director of International Programs with projects intended for international students interested in studying in Chile.

• Worked for Dr. Skye Stephenson Glade, CIEE Latin America Director, as part time director’s assistant at the University.

 

Achievements:

• Increased the number of incoming students at the University located in Valparaiso from 1994 to 2002 by designing study abroad programs according to the students needs and directing international web marketing campaigns.

• Increased the number of study abroad providers with quality study abroad programs (Universities and Study Abroad Providers: ISA - IFSA BUTLER -CIEE).
