SEPP CHILE
To strengthen students’ competitiveness in the global job market, Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJGSU) in China launched the Spoken English Promotion Project (SEPP) in 2001. By 2006, the university expanded the program to welcome students from around the world, offering significant financial support to promote cross-cultural exchange and academic enrichment.

The Director of the International Relations Office at Zhejiang Gongshang University appointed Ms. Ana María Cabello as SEPP Chile Coordinator.

As SEPP Chile Coordinator (2006–2009), Ana María led the recruitment of Chilean and Latin American university students and professionals for the intensive Three-Week Chinese Language, Culture, and Business Program at ZJGSU. She and her team represented the program internationally, presenting at the NAFSA 2009 Conference & Expo in Los Angeles with the poster session “Internationalizing the Curriculum and Campus: Chilean Students Teaching English in China.”
